Golf is not just a game—it’s a canvas for expressing your personality! As I share in my monthly stories in Fore Her, a well-coordinated fashion look is an integral part of my golf psyche. I especially love finishing off my golf outfit with the perfect cap, belt, or pair of shoes. Let’s explore the world of accessories—the creative touches that can elevate both your style and, perhaps, your game. After all, a great round starts not just with your swing, but also with your wardrobe and accessory collection!

Take my last round, for example: I paired a charming floral top with a crisp white skort. The ensemble was elevated with a color-coordinated ball cap and matching glove. It’s these small details—like golf necklaces featuring vibrant ball markers, colorful belts, coordinated visors, and even bright shoelaces—that let you infuse fun and flair into your game. Here are some accessory ideas to inspire your golf style and potentially enhance your performance!

Hats and Visors

A key component of a complete golf look is the hat or visor. VIMHUE was one of the first brands to introduce the adjustable ponytail hat, allowing you to wear your ponytail or bun at any height—or without one at all. Designed specifically to fit women’s head shapes, VIMHUE hats come in a rainbow of colors and fun prints. They offer excellent sun protection, moisture-wicking properties, and are machine washable. Check them out at VIMHUE.

For hats with attitude, explore the G-fore women’s hat collection. My favorite is the “Skull & Tees” featherweight snapback in bright pink—perfect for the upcoming “pink” month of October. The “No1 Cares” tech snapback hat always makes me chuckle, because unless it’s a team event, your golf mates really don’t care. Discover fun styles at G-fore.

If you’re looking for bold hats, visit Bad Birdie. This edgy brand caters to the newer generation, featuring signature logo birdies and the word “bad” on their hats. Check out their collection at Bad Birdie Golf.

For fun patterned hats and visors, make sure to visit Glove It. Known for their stretchy coil visors that fit every head shape comfortably, their extra-wide white bling visors adorned with crystals add glam to any outfit. They offer an abundance of patterned hats and visors, and while on the site, don’t forget to browse their gloves and bags. Glove It is truly the queen of accessories!

Gloves

Speaking of gloves, I adore the softness of Cabretta leather, and there are many options and sites to find colorful ones. Some feature wild print fabrics on the uppers, such as Duca Del Cosma’s King Cheetah print gloves available for both hands: Duca Del Cosma. G-fore also offers premium gloves worth checking out. I particularly like the Snow/Day Glo Pink gloves with their contrasting silicone tabs and stripe detail on the pinkie finger.

For a wide selection of colorful printed gloves with Cabretta leather lowers and stretchy fabric uppers, Best of Golf America has perhaps the best collection. Their “Hand Candy” collection offers a plethora of bright and colorful choices to brighten any outfit. I love the little hearts they place on the index fingertip of each glove. And back to Glove It for bags

Necklaces

My golf gal pals know that my personal favorite on-course fashion accessory is a golf necklace. It’s where I carry my magnetic ball marker, eliminating the need to fish for one in my pocket each time I mark my ball on the green. Plus, I love showcasing my collection of colorful ball markers on my golf necklace. Didn’t I say I love the small touches? You’ll find a fantastic selection of ball marker necklaces at Skorzie. My favorite is a replica of a couture multi-chain necklace worn at choker length, available in three sizes to fit all necks. Any ball cap magnet holder can be attached to the necklace and finished with a ball marker magnet of your choice. For unique necklaces, see Skorzie.

Bags

One of my favorite newcomer accessories is the “Beaddie” wristlet bags, which I discovered at the recent PGA Buyer’s Summit in Frisco, Texas. These hand-sewn wristlets feature unique beaded golf-themed prints on the front and cotton canvas on the back, perfect for carrying golf tees, markers, or personal items. Plus, they look great off the course too. While browsing Best of Golf America, check out their insulated golf-themed lunch bags and plenty of other fun golf-inspired items. And back to Glove It for more wristlets, carry-alls and totes to carry essentials and brighten your mood.

Of course, no story about fashion accessories is complete without a discussion of shoes. But that’s a whole other discussion that I’m saving for next month. So stay tuned for more tips on adding fun and flair to your game from head to toe!
